Issues with latest app and LCD Backpac?

fyi -- After numerous calls to GoPro customer service, Im told the latest iPhone GoPro app update (2.12.1) has connectivity/paring issues when used with the GoPro Hero4 Black and the GoPro LCD BacPac.

I basically have to pair the iPhone and my GoPro every time I turn the GoPro back on after its been off for several hours - IF - I have the GoPro LCD BacPac attached.

Absolutely ridiculous that two GoPro products cant work together properly.

Anyone else having these issues, yet?
