I’ve only noticed since the most recent update but the auto upload function fails often and doesn’t import time-warp video. Super upsetting to find your video didn’t upload properly via auto upload and because I used auto upload it automatically wiped the SD card memory and I lost that footage.

Just downloaded the app and spent an hour editing my GoPro footage, but I can not export or save my project without a subscription. Don’t do what I did. You have been warned. What a waste of time. Should have at least mentioned the limitations when the app starts up.

Me and my parents usually go on trips and vacations but I cant record underwater buttt ones I got this GoPro it works really good but sadly the GoPro dies pretty fast but still this app tracks everything and downloads it very good app

I have a YouTube channel and this app is great for transferring information from my GoPro to my iPad. Totally recommend this app for anyone who needs to transfer information.

I had (and still do own) a Hero 3 ! Just got the Hero black 13 - Have not been able to put it down . It is so very sleek and intuitive (in pro mode the settings give you amazing results) and creativity starts to soar !! I did not know what I was missing! It is a “Must own”!

GoPro has become impossible to deal with. First, when I moved from Android to iPhone, there was no way to move my subscription, so I bought a new annual subscription, it’s worked for 5 months, then I couldn’t save projects anymore. There was no phone number to call for customer service, so I emailed, and then the runaround started. They’ve claimed my email wasn’t in their system, that maybe it was masked by Apple iCloud+ which I don’t have, etc. I forwarded the subscription confirmation by Apple and my credit card statement showing the charge. Nothing, like speaking with a dumb wall. Look elsewhere for your clip production!!

When trying to edit max 360 video is shows stabilizing with a swirl for a second and then goes to black screen. Waiting 10 min and nothing. Not sure about gopro anymore. Can’t even edit videos. What did they do to the app and the Max camera?

Trash connectivity. Always disconnect when downloading files and requires to be on the screen so you can stare at the download progress for an hour.

The app has the live preview and not even with the subscription you can do amazing things, this is the best app, none of the other ones work, this one does it is the best! Go pro be a hero

I would not write this if I was not paying $50 a year for this app. Uploads don’t work, edits are sooooo slow. It breaks all the time. Overall it’s a horrible experience.

Couldnt even open the screen to add speedometer sticker :(

The GoPro app is really helpful because I like to film and it makes it easy to get the film from the camera or into my phone that I can use an editor app to help post videos on YouTube

After spending so much time making a video edit (several hours) I received a random generic error, and now cannot export or edit ‘my edit’, and it didn’t save to there cloud, so i cannot access that edit from another device. Uggghh! This app is garbage.

Every since GoPro has switched to Quik, I have constantly had issues with uploading any media. To the point that it hasn’t uploaded any of my media for the past year

They double chargered me. The premium and the premium+ both got charged to my card. $149 Pretty upset….

It appears they got rid of the over capture feature for go pro max. Makes it so much more difficult to edit. Huge disappointment

When I edit my videos, I want full and complete control over what I can do. I want to merge videos together. I wanna chop them up. I wanna overlay my own music and audio, put captions and subtitles and all this stuff but I cannot do that in the GoPro Quik app. This app does it all itself and puts cheesy stock music over everything and does not allow me to cut the video up as I would like to. It does it itself and assumes that’s good enough. So I use other editing software to do that like blender then I wanna save my edited video to the GoPro cloud but it no longer counts as GoPro footage because I use a different software program than what GoPro allows. But being able to watch my videos, anywhere is fine.

I love the GoPro camera. And this service used to be great. I subscribed through apple and my login isn’t recognized. I can’t access my old videos. My new videos won’t sync to the cloud. I’ve submitted multiple requests to customer support with no response. Buyer beware!

new update wont read my old edits so have to start over. I would recommend not updating if you have an older version - the software is getting worse and older versions are better in my view. Very poor update design.

I feel I had so many hours of coming up with a cool video and it gives me an oops can’t save screen. I’ve made a few great ones but it’s been frustrating when it decides it won’t. I have the newest iPhone pro so it’s not a phone issue like I thought it was before I upgraded. It’s bla to me now.

You guys responded to 2 different reviews saying overcapture will be back with recent updates and that has yet to happen.. you guys say it keeps getting better but it just keeps getting worse. The app is even more buggy than before. Any video I try and click on it just says stabilizing.. it never even used to be like that I would just click on a video and it would open right up. DO BETTER GOPRO!! Can’t be that hard to make a decent app. Maybe ask insta360 for some help..

Takes all of your phones storage and there’s no pc app.

Bring back overcapture. New tools are fine but so much slower and more clunky.

Hopefully you guys can bring it back to pc/Mac again

Overall, the filming is fine, but downloading and getting the media into a usable form is a never-ending hassle. I’m frankly disappointed with the product.

This used to be my favorite app to edit videos on my phone. Not just for my GoPro videos but for everything. However, I was making a video not to long ago and it wouldn’t let me save my masterpiece because they now charge a monthly subscription to utilize it. Now GoPro is already expensive in itself but to now charge for using the most basic features of the app is just outrageous to me. My 5 stars goes down to one. In the hopes that they undo this injustice from a clearly money hungry business.

This camera has failed to get the shot every time I will never buy another GoPro. I feel cheated so many times by anything made by GoPro.. also want to point out that there is nothing “Quick “ about the app. And there must’ve been some type of mental gymnastics taking place to make someone think that there was going to be anything done quickly with this app.

This app is no longer supported on MacOS. Please remove from AppStore.

I loved everything until the new update. I’m not sure what happened but I can’t see the GPS anymore even when the GPS was activated on the Hardware.

This app works great but if you have let say 600 Photos and videos it will take way to long and the camera will over heat because it has to be powered on to long

I subscribed when I first started using my GoPro, but for some reason, the app always acts like I haven't subscribed and keeps asking me to substribe.

I enjoy using the Quik application for my GoPro video editing needs. Too Bad they stopped the Mac OS support. As I enjoy doing my editing on a MacBook rather than a cellphone.

Certain videos upload to the cloud as unsupported media and are unable to download to device. Sometimes the cloud will upload multiple videos from one day and put them in different dates. The GoPro cloud is frustrating and the only reason I use it is due to unlimited storage but as soon as I get a larger storage device the use of GoPro cloud will be obsolete. GoPro customer is trash as well so talking to them is pointless.

I know that mine is older and not Bluetooth compatible but If it was my GoPro Hero Camcorder should be on here please add it or something and update cameras.

This is not worth paying for. Very little storage. The video editor is horrible. Makes really bad videos. So bad, can’t even download straight to you tube.,
