GoPro Quik: Video Editor App Reviews

App just sits when I open it just says GoPro and doesnt open. Not working very disappointed. Just bought a 600$ GoPro and cant see my videos......

Unlike some other reviewers, I was able to get this AP synchronized with my iPad and iPhone. I have the Hero4 Silver. The trick was to ignore the APs onscreen prompt and use the GoPros screen to sync instead. Also update the cameras software where prompted. Once this was accomplished I could view the video from the camera on my iPone in real time and could control the cameras functions (like start recording etc.)

not sure why the negative reviews, but there was an issue with iOS 9.1 thats apples problem, not GoPro. Follow all instructions, and it works great. I use it all the time for things where I can’t reach the camera all the time.

App doesnt work. Cannot connect at all. Useless and very disappointing that I need to wait two weeks to be back home to connect my gopro to my computer to access my videos and pictures

Paired up in 5 minutes, everything works! Just download the camera instructions, and skipping from app to camera instructions the setup is easy as pie. P.S. I didnt update IOS to 9.1 yet, usually have to wait about 6 months for Apple to figure out their bugs

Im happy with it so far, no issues. Something Id love to see someday for iwatch users is to have a Gopro app for the Apple iwatch where you can control your camera and have a viewfinder on the watchface...similar to what the iphone app does but on the iwatch. That would be awesome.

First time around I did not do so well but I finally got it figured out. You have to update the software first. Thats slightly tricky depending on how good you are with computers. Once that is done and you have registered your camera on the go Pro website, you will make a password when you register. That password will be kept on your micro SD card and that is the password that you use to link up your phone to your camera. There is a slight delay for me but maybe thats because Im not near Wi-Fi, but only using my phones Internet. So far, so good.....

App constantly crashes when editing and exporting. Its gotten to the point now Ill look for another editing program. A name and product like GoPro should have an app that runs smoothly all the time. Very frustrating!!

that app is absolutely awesome.. until you download the new update i cant get to "media" to look at my photo/video the app close automatically

Great app but, I have a gopro and theyre way to expensive. You came out with the plain hero but, you cant take it out of its case, or use wifi

You should add a feature thatll let you create a video/movie with your GoPro clips within the app instead of having to do it in the GoPro studio. Itll make it more convenient, easier and make the app more fun and better to have.

Just the title is the tip of the iceberg of what represents all the frustration felt about the application that goes with the wonderful GoPro camera. Besides the camera who indeed takes wonderful and breathtaking pictures but desperately needs a timer for taking pictures in a group or a regular selfie stick, or with a bluetooth connection! Having these features would of course render the app useless... However instead of fooling people this way, the whole app and connectivity concept should be revised and made easy!!! We dont have time to fumble with the phone AND the camera on top of a cliff!!! stop using that separate wi-fi network that NEVER is detected.... Should Ive known these BIG HUGE shortcomings, I would have even reconsidered buying the camera at the first place... So if you want more satisfaction,and perhaps sales, consider improving this.

I really love this app, however Ive encountered a bug that when you try to get your videos on that GoPro album thing, it crashes, I had to go through a bunch of setbacks to get back to where I was and Im still nowhere...

GoPro and Twitter announced you can use the GoPro now to live stream on Periscope. Thought it was a cash grab since previous versions like the hero 3 are not supported. So, I Went to the store anyway to get the latest and greatest only to find out now it too is not supported. Total Fail. Returning to store. Cant trust GoPro anymore. After owning five previous ones Im done. Im sure I can find something else to spend my money on.

Cant connect any camera to the app. Zero support and hard to use

Complete crap

I just bought a brand new go pro and connected my camera to the app with no issue. Soon as I tried to open the app today every time I click on it it opens the title page then Immediately quits. I have tried to open the app over 20 times and have closed and redownloaded it multiple times. Im very frustrated as I bought the camera with expectations for the app to work. I really hope this issue is fixed soon because I am very very upset with the quality. I have tried everything about troubleshooting but nothing works. Please address this issue ASAP

Well, GoPro nails their cameras, but cant make an app for their lives. Will not connect to my GoPro session even though my session is in pairing mode. The camera was connected with my phone prior but the app froze my GoPro and then the app froze... Well done
