GoPro Quik: Video Editor App Reviews

OK its go time, you have to log into the Wi-Fi on your go Pro to access it, thats annoying enough. Now you have to log into GoPro using your account or Facebook before you can access the camera. This is been a real pain, especially when Im working fast with paying clients. I dont like it.

Why is that all images turning to exclamation every time i use this app. It was not like this before the update of the new logo. Now I cant even enjoy using my go pro hero 4 black, i tried restarting and stuff but it will always go back to ❗️in the media! This is really annoying!

Ive spent way too many hours trying to connect to my Hero5 Black and my Hero5 Sessions and can never get it to connect according to their instructions. Absolutely worthless.

I bought a Hero+ from Amazon specifically so I could pair it with my Iphone. Im totally off the grid when I use this and I have no interest in having a go pro account but this app forces you to have an account or wants to troll your Facebook account for the privilege of using your own hardware. This is repugnant. Ill be looking for another Wi-Fi enabled camera without such nonsense. Boo GoPro!

You guys sure ruined a good thing. Forcing users of your products to create an account and log in.

Requires a login to use. Bogus privacy policy. I dont feel I owe gopro my information to help them improve. I spent good money on my devices and I should be allowed to opt out. Deleting the app and returning gopro and stabilizer.

GoPro recognizes that people hate the sign in, but will not relent. You now get a temporary grace period before being required to sign in. This update kills remote control and viewing footage from your camera. The mandatory sign in breaks the app and renders the most basic features unusable. GoPro has lost touch with its audience.

Not buying hero5 black until I can control it without a login.

So Im traveling abroad and I have no cell service. Which means I cant use this app because it requires login from the internet. How insanely stupid is that idea? Ive tried using it in other places in California with limited cellular and it just wont work.

I dont want to have to sign in. Keep it simple. Make the app fast and easy to control my camera. This isnt a social media app.

Just updated for new version: we dont want a bypass login "while out of service." We want a bypass login at all times, any time we feel like it. I want to NEVER have to login, just like it was when you sold me this product. Bait and switch greedy data mining stupidness that some of us users arent going to stand for. You still dont get it, even while you are losing customers over it. Boggles the mind. One star still. Login has caused blown shoots. GoPro is beyond stupid for continuing this crap with pro users. Only a matter of time before I dump altogether and move to other products while telling every pro I know of my experience. Update for new version: still login required, still fail, still one star (would give zero if I could).

Ironically enough the app signed me out. Turned off the data and wifi...still asks me to sign in. I dont sign out after I sign in bc I cant remember the password every time. I thought this was fixed?

YOU KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS DONT WANT. LOSE THE STUPID SIGN IN NOW!!!! You are a failed entertainment company. Go back to making your customers happy. Word of mouth counts. We are telling everyone your app stinks!!!! Figure it out before youre the next Blackberry.

To much fooling around with Facebook, login, etc. I am deleting. They make these programs harder than they need too.

GoPro feels that they have a right to lock me out of my device unless I provide them with my data. Returning my camera and buying the new Sony X3000 so I dont have to deal with this nonsense. It has better stabilization anyway.

I think that says it all. Required log in is BS. I have spent good money for my GoPro, but the app is worthless in it present state. Too bad I cant rate it with NO STARS!!!!!

There absolutely needs to be an option to use and configure my cameras without an account. The lack of an offline option is shameful and dishonest.

Why I need to register yet another worthless account that will spam with marketing emails just to connect to my camera and make videos? Horrible!
