I love the camera and all the flexibility it has. However the app will not reliably link with the camera.

Having to login every time the app is updated is getting pretty old.

Super annoying that you have to sign in and have access to internet to use the camera. Also the app doesnt work in landscape mode like it suppose too.

No stars but cant review without giving 1 - I cant open without cookies or links via Facebook etc Youve lost touch with your customers ... we just want to see our pics and videos by link to camera and download them Pls stop making us link up with cookies and linkages for YOUR needs ..pls let us enjoy using your great camera!!

Until now I thought the whole GoPro line of products was pretty cool, and the ideas implemented were ground breaking, until this pretty ridiculous update, which requests you to login their website to operate the app. What a massive step back and absolute misread of the users needs. Horrid

I brought my GoPro on vacation and recorded a Bunch of videos and was so exited to watch them when I got home, but now it says I dont have a account. Im so disappointed with this stupid app

Time to switch cameras I guess. Stop wanting to invade my privacy which Im sure u are doing in some way!

Honestly? I dont want to create an account. I just want to control my camera. Temporary offline mode? Give me back permanent offline mode. What a waste. Used to be exclusively what I used, and now I delete it.

The app works as it should but be aware that GoPro forces you to create an account and login every time you want to use the app. Many people, myself included, find this requirement infuriating and unnecessary and it of course requires internet access. This changes its go anywhere status to go anywhere that has internet access. Dont underestimate the hassle factor this introduces.

Do not download this App because you will be allowing GoPro unrestricted rights to use your personal videos; without any compensation or privacy. READ SECTION 7 of the a GoPro Terms of Use!!! AND, This crap App still requires you to create an account and sign-in just to adjust the camera. Great way to lose customers. I refuse to grant GoPro legal rights to my videos!! I refuse to sign-in just to reset a setting. This update just made my GoPro useless

Still it needs to be developed more and also iPhone has to be developed to meet the high res requirements for Hero4 + Until it happens, GoPro App is the best way to control your camera instead of tiny screen and buttons on it.

We travel a lot, we use it a lot. It is great with GoPro 4 Silver b/c you dont spend your battery for the screen.

Im really happy to use a gopro hero4 camera i do everything with it but the problem is since ive updated the latiest version of gopro app i have the connection error ive just tried to connect to the camera at least ten timez but still cant do it

Why do I need to sign in just to connect and control my camera, when I didnt need to do that before and İt was JUST FINE. I have already way too many accounts and I dont want another one just to use my camera !
